I believe I am accomplished the task of scaring delivery men and mailmen. Usually whenever I order something online or when I’m expecting something in the mail, I literally stalk the mailbox. Even if there is a track your package feature from the website I ordered from, I still stalk the mailbox.

It was probably worse during the later part of my senior year of high school when I was waiting for acception or rejection letters from the various schools I applied to. During those few months I was going bat crazy every time I went through the mail and didn’t receive anything from the schools.

During school, I religiously checked my mailbox everyday (except Sunday, obviously). Despite the fact that the front desk had a sign for when mail had arrived or when it was being sorted, I still checked. It only got worse whenever I ordered something online and checked my mailbox several times a day for the magical pink package slip.

I don’t think this cycle of stalking my mailbox will stop any time soon.
