I don’t shop in the so-called “prep” stores. This is for several reasons, but for the most part I just can’t afford it. I also prefer not having clothes that use their customers as walking billboards… umm, shouldn’t businesses pay people to advertise for them instead of the other way around? There is also the [...]

In recent history, the Academy has been… very disappointing with their ability to give awards to films that truly deserve it. It’s even worse when movies that deserve nominations are completely ignored. Case in point: The Dark Knight.

I will admit that I kinda sorta slept through a majority of the Inauguration. This is what happens when I stay up until 4 AM having an Asian drama marathon like no other! However, I did wake up on time to listen (my dad turned up the volume loud enough on the TV for me [...]

Interesting thing that came to my attention when I visited my old high school, which was that the school’s athletic field has been shut down since 2007 (meaning after I graduated, because we still used it until then). My life can be summed up into this video:

Pretty much after work and classes and I figure that I should get some stuff done. However, I figure that I should probably get something to eat, since the dining hall is going to close soon. And I eat and go back to [...]

Anyone who lives in a northern state (especially one that borders Canada) suffer unbelievably cold and miserable winters. I think Lewis Black puts it quite eloquently:

There have been many times where I walk outside to class with a list of things in my head that I need to do — BAM! [...]

There are these blogs called My Mom is a Fob and My Dad is a Fob. This is something that second generation Asian-Americans will probably appreciate more, but it’s still hilarious (and adorable). [/end plug]
And yes, my parents are fobs. I love them, but you have to admit that poking fun at them is just… [...]

I decided I needed to venture out of the house, and since my dad’s car wasn’t blocking mine for once; I figured I might as well take advantage of that.
I went to the library… it took me awhile to actually get there. Since I’ve only been there once since moving to suburbia many years ago, [...]
